In particular, Burning-Souldragon's True-Consecutive Blade is very hard to dodge, so the player can easily gain control of the game if they can make use of the effect early.
Then the win condition is eliminating opposing Spirits/Ultimates and dealing life damages at the same time through Consecutive Blade or other similar effects. Then ideally it is best to activate Burning-Souldragon quickly with The MushaPriest Suou through Catalyze, or filling the board with Souldragons through the Burst effect of The SengokuBeastEmperor Souldragon-Flame. Then the player also needs to keep drawing with Red Magic cards to fill up their hand. The early game is set up by attacking with Spirits with True-Clash, such as Jinraidragon, forcing the opponent to block and lose their Spirits and hence their board. The majority of them is also red, leading to the deck being a red-centered deck focusing the Lord and Vassal families.
Some of them are also in the Lord family. While a Souldragon-orientated deck is uncommon, it is certainly a viable deck, especially since all of them are in the War Dragon family. The SengokuDragonEmperor Burning-Souldragon in particular is regarded as a savior in the Burning Legend for defeating God-Sechs, and became The SengokuDragonGod Tenkafubu. In lore, Souldragon is a title passed down to the War Dragon leaders through generations. and has Consecutive Blade or a variant, such as True-Consecutive Blade or effects directed at two opposing Spirits/Ultimates which activate upon sending Soul Core to trash. In-anime, Souldragons are used by the protagonist of Battle Spirits Burning Soul, Yukimura Rekka. Every Souldragon is in the War Dragon family.
